Sexy Costumes for Witches and Vampires

Everyone loves to dress up in costumes. Even people who pretend like they think it’s silly, immature or whatever, secretly love to do it and are overjoyed when they find out they’re going to a party or event that requires it. And you can always tell the typically conservative and reserved individual who will show up as the sexiest vampire, witch or other character when they get the chance. Of course they’re not alone, many people decide to go sexy when they’re asked to dress up in costumes and why not? Most people don’t get the chance to do so in real life, at least in public, so this is actually a much needed venue of self expression.

And it’s great to know if you’re a bit larger than average that you’re not alone. There are some incredibly attractive plus size sexy costumes available and everyone should take the opportunity to fulfill various fantasies when it comes to costumes and costume parties. They’re a bit like carnival celebrations without New Orleans or the necessary follow up of Lent . Of course if you do it right when you’re out in costumes celebrating you may feel like giving up one or two indulgences the next day. And that’s fine, the point is you’ve embraced fun and fantasy. And those are two essential ingredients in maintaining one’s happiness.

The best things about Big Bang Theory

Last summer I got a lot more TV channels with the Directtv free installation in my house. Although I flip through many channels at all different times of the day and night, I can’t help but look forward to the Big Bang Theory on every Monday night. The show is just finishing up it’s third season and next season will change days from Monday to Thursday.

I think the thing I like the most about the Big Bang Theory is that the four characters truly are like the nerds of the real world. Sheldon who is so smart he can’t fully function around normal people. Leonard who is actually very normal but tends to be happier with people that are scientific. Raj, who is my favorite, is afraid to talk to girls without alcohol in his body. Howard who loves women and never runs out of geeky pick up lines that never work. The four of them have such good chemistry together it’s amazing you are watching a show and not just nerdy guys talking to each other.

Then there is Penny, who lives across the hall. Penny is normal and doesn’t normally understand the vocabulary of what Sheldon says nor does she care. Leonard truly loves Penny and in the third season they finally start to date. I hope the fourth season in the fall is as good as the last three amazing seasons.

Hollywood Invades New York for the Tony Awards

While it’s true that New York is a city that never sleeps, you will definitely want to catch up on a few zees if you intend to visit it. And while most people who do make a trip to New York plan to see at least one Broadway play, or a performance of one of the other great theatre companies that are found throughout the city, the latest buzz is all about recognizing and honoring the best of New York as well as national regional theatre and the people who practice this art. But for those who are in the audience for one or more of these great productions, the honor and recognition is just part of the experience.

Interestingly there are a large number of actors who are well known for their work in television and film on the nominee list for the Tony Awards. Among them are Jude Law, how received critical approval and major audience appreciation for his role as Hamlet in the iconic Shakespearean play. Another Hollywood heavy weigh, Denzel Washington is up for an award for best actor in a play for his role in the August Wilson drama Fences. Laura Linney was nominated for best actress in a play for her starring role in Donald Margulies Time Stands Still. Linda Lavin is another major name who is nominated in the best actress category.

The list goes on for film and television favorites who are nominated for Tony Awards this year. The musical theatre categories include Kelsey Grammer and Sean Hayes who are both nominated for best actor in a musical. Grammer is in the revival production of La Cage aux Folles and Hayes is in the revival of Promises Promises. Catherine Zeta-Jones is nominated for her lead role in A Little Night Music and her cast member Angela Lansbury is up for one as well. With so many film and television stars in the line up, it fill almost more like the Academy or Emmy Awards and one has to wonder if Hollywood credits are becoming the new requirement for Broadway recognition. Of course the fans and guests in some of the best New York hotel s are just interested in seeing the great performances. That is after all, what it’s all about.

CBS Cancels Seven Shows

CBS has canceled seven shows for the next season, taking out some shows that were once popular, but aren’t any longer as well as some shows that had a one season chance and fell on their face. Numb3rs, Ghost Whisperer and Cold Case range some of the older shows that were canceled. Some of these had to go because they were no longer as popular as they once were, for other shows there was just no more story line to write. The new shows that have been canceled might be a bit of a shock to some people as many of them had time slot changes which were the major problem with the ratings.  The full schedule should be available at TV Guide’s website if you want to know what is now on when.

Breaking Dawn Might Be Breaking Down

Breaking Dawn is threatening to break down as negotiations with stars seem to be crumbling. Everyone was all set for a single movie, but if they have to split it up into two movies, there will have to be renegotiation with the actors and that right now is what is threatening to break apart the movie. There are threats that if the actors won’t cooperate and ask for reasonable amounts of money, they may not be able to make the movies at all, or will kick one of the main stars holding up operations out of the next movie. If this ends up being the case they stand to either lose a lot of money by losing a lot of fans, or make a lot of money by possibly winning over some of the critics who don’t like the current cast as they are now.

Iron Man Has Box Office Hit

Before the movie ever premiered on American soil they had already made all of their money back, so it is no surprise that Iron Man 2 has been a big box office hit in the UK, actually it has ranked number one in the UK two weeks in a row. It is expected to stay up there for some time too. While it just premiered in the United States this past weekend, that too got amazing ratings. There are a few parts that have been promised to us that you will not see in the theater when you go to see it however, so now fans will have to just await the DVDs and Blue Rays to see why they were not added in.

Re-Release of Avatar

It hasn’t even been a year and there is already talk of a re-release of Avatar. With the hope of luring all the people who fell in love with it back to the theaters with six minutes of unseen footage, and hoping to lure new people in who just want to see it in theaters for the first time instead of watching it at home. James Cameron seems to feel a little jipped that his movie had to be taken out of Imax theaters because of contractual obligations to bring in Alice in Wonderland.

Keep Your Money When You Write ab E-Book

If you have a book published, and it is about to be made into an e-book, you may want to double check your contract, because your publisher may be trying to keep you from your rightfully earned money. You should remember that publishers spend less money making these e-books than they do printing books and so they make more money. You should also read as much as you can by the Author’s Guild who know what they are talking about.
