Then you will want to decide what to do for dinner and your night time activites. There are places to eat all over town with an emphasis on different ethnic foods you can head over to Japan Center for some sushi or Chinatown for some chinese cuisine. There is always some great Italian food in the North Beach area of town which also has Coit Tower to visit and see the skyline of the city lit up. Seafood can be found all over town but there are some great waterfront restaurants down on Fishermans Wharf. After you have had a great meal what do you want to do next? You sure don’t want to fall asleep to soon. You have to take in as much as possible and sleep when you get home.

How about taking in a some sort of live performance. There are always some out of the ordinary shows that you could only see in places like San Francisco, London or New York like Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band. For those of you who don’t live in one of these mega cities you may not know that Yoko Ono is still influencing the art and music world while keeping her world peace campaign going. She is now 76 years old and is releasing her latest project which is a blend of many musical styles. Fans can see her at places like the Fox Theatre in Oakland.

I like to find the comedy clubs in different towns especially in places like San Francisco where the truly talented go. There are some that have dinner available as well which is perfect for that one stop fun destination. Check out Punch Line Comedy Club on Battery Street. In February and March you will be able to catch Chris hardwick, Kevin Camia, Al Madrigal, Tony Rock, Rob Cantrell, and Robert Kelly. So take part in some real stress therapy and laugh.

San Francisco Nights is a post from: RepGuardian

Related posts:

Fun Activities Near Fremont

London and Monty Python

My MY My What to do

Bee Gees Get Musical Start in Brisbane

Music

Travel

Bee Gees

Brisbane

Brisbane boutique hotels

musical start

Saturday Night Fever

The Bee Gees were an amazing musical trio, whose careers and works have transcended decades of musical genre transitions and various trends. The group was comprised of three brothers, Robin, Barry and Maurice Gibb. The brothers also had a much younger brother, Andy, who would follow in their footsteps and forge his own singer career as a solo artist. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man and their parents were English. They lived in Manchester, England and also Brisbane, Australia as children. They began their musical careers young, and while they were still in Brisbane. The city serves as an excellent introductory atmosphere for young musicians as it is recognized as one of the world’s major music cities. In fact, in 2007 it was nominated as one Billboard’s Top 5 International Music Hotspots. Tourists who visit the city and stay in one of the charming Brisbane boutique hotels are often there to attend a great music festival or at least see a concert at one of the fabulous South Bank venues.

The Bee Gees are remarkable both for their great music and the brothers’ abilities for tight harmonies, but also for their ability to sustain a career through 45 years in the business. This is a remarkable feat for any band, particularly one that became almost synonymous with a particular style, such as disco. The Bee Gees were a driving force behind the disco fever that spread like wild fire through the seventies. While they were extremely successful and internationally known by the time this film was in production, they rose to an even greater superstar status with the soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever, a film which some have said defines the disco generation. And while this film and album did not begin or elevate the disco trend, it certainly prolonged it and brought into greater mainstream attention. The songs Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, and How Deep is Your Love all reached number one status in the United States. Had a wonderful picnic with my two best friends while we listened to the roadies do a sound check. We then walked around for a bit waiting for the doors to open. Then before we knew it the doors opened and we were let in. I headed directly for the memorabilia booth and bought the program and the tour T-shirt, my friends bought their T-shirts too.

We found our seats and first got to listen to Kitty, Daisy and Lewis. My friends rolled out the sign they made for Kitty, but we doubt she saw it. Elbow plays after them and Elbow was way better than Kitty. I’ve never heard Elbow live, and they are much better live. Then…what we were all there for….Coldplay entered the stage. I pulled out my sign and danced through two songs; U2’s Magnificent and some rap song I didn’t recognize. People were taking photo’s of me, I hope some of the snapshots make it on someones blog.

My favorite moment was during the song ‘In My Place,’ when I threw up a beach ball into the crowd below. The weather was beautiful, so it was time to bring out The Beach ball; it made it a long way before someone finally got to slap it around. The concert was absolutely amazing and then when it was almost over, then came the cell phone wave. I love the cell phone wave, it looks really cool from the audience. This was my sixth Coldplay concert and this was definitely the best one to date. I have to say that LiTii was the last song of the night and it was my favorite.

Concert Tickets and Beach Balls is a post from: RepGuardian

Related posts:

Coldplay Summertime Concert Tickets

Historical Theater Tickets

Finding Sold Out Tickets

Coldplay Summertime Concert Tickets

Entertainment

Music

Chris Martins

Coldplay

Green Eyes

Summertime Concert Tickets

Early this morning I rushed out the door to go to work, I’m late, naturally. But, I didn’t care, I was feeling happy and amazingly alive. It’s all due to the lingering effects of last nights concert. What was even better, was when I got into my car, as I turned on the ignition, the CD was playing a songs from Coldplay, ones that I heard last night. So, my entire time driving to work was barely noticeable. I cranked up the bass and blasted through traffic bottlenecks and snarls oblivious and reminiscing about last night.

I’m so glad my girlfriend recommend we check out what was the going Summertime Concert Tickets and found Coldplay was coming into town. I just love Coldplay and how I can easily sing-a-long to every one of their songs. I remember sitting by myself at the concert, my friend, my boyfriend and I couldn’t get seats next to each other, but we decided it was worth it to go even though we had to sit away from each other. It was the best decision we ever made. Although, it would have been really great to live each moment of the concert over again with my friend and boyfriend, but all the same, just being at the concert was an experience worth the experience of just me. See, luckily, the two girls sitting next to me were just as bent on having the time of their lives as I was, so we bonded immediately when we screamed, clapped and sang at everything. Then later, we realized some unbelievable luck.

About three seats away there were some covered reserved seats with what looked like audio gear and some other very techie stuff. Then about 10 minutes later we noticed a lot of commotion going on at those seats, and we couldn’t believe our eyes! We started screaming like little girls. We saw a platform appeared and then a guitar stood on top of it and then a bass and then a microphone! There were going to play right in front of us! Our hearts jumped right into our throats. Then the band stopped playing on the main stage and walked to the edge of the stage and proceeded to walk right toward us and got on the new platform created just three seats away! We all got to reach out and actually touch Chris Martins hands. Wow! I mean, Wow! And they began to sing Green Eyes.

I don’t know how long it took me to realize that I was in the parking lot at work just sitting in my car, but I finally did become aware of reality and that I was even more late to work than ever. But, I didn’t care, cause all that will be on my mind today is how Chris Martin and I hooked eye to eye for what seemed like an eternity.

Coldplay Summertime Concert Tickets is a post from: RepGuardian

Related posts:

Concert Tickets and Beach Balls

Finding Sold Out Tickets

Historical Theater Tickets
