Travel somewhere different in the US

The map of the world is so vast it can be difficult to decide the perfect vacation destination. Sure everyone has a list of dream vacations, anywhere on the map of Europe for example, or along any beaches on the coastal map of California. There are a few vacation destinations within our very own United States map that hardly are considered and worth some of your travel dollars. Here is a list of a few.

Disneyworld: Located in Orlando,Disneyworld may seem like kid stuff but it is a world class destination for millions of tourists each year. Not to mention Disney World is one of the most all encompassing attractions in the entire world map, with Epcot Center and of course, Mickey Mouse.

Mt. Rushmore
:If you are looking for a bit of history and majestic mountains there is no better getaway then Mt. Rushmore. The only mountain of its kind in the entire map of the world Mt. Rushmore offers a unique experience.

Santa Fe, New Mexico: Even if you are not into to buying up loads of turquoise Santa Fe is a great city for art. With many art galleries and just great outdoor shopping, Santa Fe is just a great place to stroll. Look no further than Santa Fe for a Western city with something a little extra.

Seattle, Washington: The space needle and the fish market are two main attractions in this Northwest oasis of the USA map. The birth of grunge, this destination tends to be a bit over looked because it does not boast the warmest or driest weather. Any coffee or Starbucks aficionados would love to sip in the birthplace of coffee capitalism.

Philadelphia, PA: The city has more history than Alaska has ice. It’s the place where our founding fathers walked and the first capital of the early United States map. Philadelphia is a great mid western place to get a cheese steak, catch a ballgame, or just enjoy the history.

No matter where you end up, it’s nice to get off travel’s beaten path sometimes.
