Use Tools Wisely!!
Throughout the time that modern man has been on the planet he has used tools to aid him in his work. Tools are very useful implements and to make sure that they operate at their optimum level they should be taken care of. When not in use tools should be stored carefully. This may be in a tool box or work bench. The tool should have enough room so that it does not move against another tool which can result in damage.
Tools should not be left lying on a work bench when not in use. This can be a hazard to workers and people who come in contact with the work area. Sharp tools should be kept in a protected holder to prevent damage to the surfaces and to avoid people coming into contact with the.
Make sure you use a particular tool such as contractor tools for the job it was designed to do. Misuse of tools can result in injury to the user or damage to the tool.
The tool should always be in tip top condition. They should be clean and well maintained. Avoid any moisture in the area in which they are stored to prevent rusting. If rust is an issue wipe the tool down with an oiled rag occasionally. If the tool has moving parts make sure that they are lubricated per the instruction manual. If the tool has a cutting edge make sure that it is sharp as dull tools cause accidents. This is because a dull tool will require extra effort from the user and can result in the tool slipping or the user losing balance. Always keep your tools in tip top condition.
